teamwork
“TOP 100 honours the most innovative companies in the German SME sector,” says UWS CEO Steffen Breitmoser. “The basis of the award is an independent examination based on a scientific system, and we successfully passed the scientific selection process that was made up of around 120 test criteria from five categories in the areas of innovation: promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. Together, these demonstrated our innovative strength. To be included in the TOP 100 is more than just an award for us—it is recognition of the performance of our entire team, because for us innovation means teamwork.”

eco-friendly buildings
UWS focuses on developing and manufacturing water treatment systems to improve the energy efficiency of heating and cooling installations in eco-friendly buildings, with the company's portfolio of systems, services and IoT solutions made up of water measuring technology, filling, mobile venting, replenishment, cleaning and filtration. “Water treatment of heating and cooling systems is a fast-growing market,” says Steffen. “We are an innovative company by nature and design, and we aim to continue to contribute to eco-friendly buildings in myriad ways, such as providing systems that ensure optimum energy-efficient heat and cooling transfer as well as working to extend the lifetime of such systems. We will achieve this through strong teamwork and by looking for solutions that challenge the paradigm.”
