acquisition Thermi Centre in France

highlights

  • acquisition Thermi Centre S.A. (France)
  • wide range of heat treatment and coating processes
  • annual revenue approximately NLG 13 million

Aalberts Industries N.V., based in Langbroek, and listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, is to take over the French-based Thermi Centre S.A.

Thermi Centre, with a turnover of approximately NLG 13 million, is active in the field of heat treatment and coatings, which fits into the group activity Industrial Services. Three service centres provide a wide range of heat treatment and coating processes. These industrial services are concentrated mainly in Central France.

The take-over means breaking into the French market, which until now has been dominated by a single provider.  Thermi Centre will be a part of the European network of service centres, which now comprises 25 branches in the countries Germany, Benelux, Spain, United Kingdom and United States of America. Thermi Centre will also serve as the foundation for further expansion of activities on the French market.

In a short time, the first investments will lead to a clear increase in capacity.

The take-over will be financed by Aalberts Industries’ own resources and will make a positive contribution to the growth in profit per share.
